Nashville is MUCH more than a honky tonk heaven and while planning my sister’s bachelorette weekend, I was determined that we get the full tour!
We stayed in East Nashville and spent time exploring Midtown and the Gulch neighborhoods, before ending our trip bar hopping on Broadway.
I put together this fun Nashville travel guide for making the most of a Music City:
Where To Stay:
We stayed East Nashville which was described to me as eclectic, “up and coming” and one of the most-desired areas to live and play in Nashville.
This “low-key” neighborhood has TONS of personality, a hot foodie scene and lots of fun bars!
We rented the CUTEST bungalow and made it our homebase for the weekend. This boho-chic bachelorette pad provided a nice retreat from the craziness of Broadway (just 5 miles from the house).
Each bedroom had a different theme, whether it was adorned with old records and vintage touches or rose gold deer heads, I wanted to sleep in every room! There was even a fire pit in the backyard…s’mores anyone?!
Where To Play:
Pinewood Social (pictured above)- bowling, bocce, an airstream bar and a swimming pool?! When can I move in!
No 308. -a bar in East Nashville
TheTreehouse- a bar in East Nashville & spoiler alert there IS an actual treehouse!
Acme Feed and Seed– if you ARE headed to Broadway St. stop here first for food & live music.
I recently visited the big apple for less than 24 hours and let me tell you, girlfriend covered a lot of ground. I was lucky enough to stay in SoHo, which is my FAVORITE neighborhood in NYC. The food is to die for, the shopping is unparalleled and it’s located right by my second favorite hood–Little […]
Now that we’re back and well rested from our honeymoon, I wanted to put together a little travel guide Turks & Caicos style! I’ll admit, when I learned the trip would cost more than our 10 day trip to Italy (travel guides here, here, here and here), I wanted to get back to the Amalfi […]
I am writing to you with just under a MONTH until our wedding day! It feels like we just got engaged, but I guess time flies when you’re having fun. Speaking of fun, I recently had my bachelorette party here in Chicago. I wanted to share some of the weekend and put together a little Chicago Bachelorette […]
To put it quite simply, I can’t believe a place like this actually exists! Positano was hands down, the highlight of our trip to Italy. In fact, we’re even planning on traveling straight to the Amalfi Coast for our next trip and spending ALL of our time there! After a week of discovering city life […]
After spending 4 days in Florence, Matt and I set out for Roma via high speed train! We both spent quite a bit of time in Rome, but we wanted to revisit the eternal city together for at least a few days before heading to the Amalfi coast. FYI: one thing that shocked us was all the […]
TRAVEL GUIDE Siena, San Gimignano & Pisa Florence is the capital of the Tuscany region, so the city has no shortage of rolling hills in it’s backdrop. This means you can escape the city and be sipping a nice glass of red on a vineyard in about 30 minutes or less! The ONLY guided […]
Italy is a total dream come true! I had the chance to revisit this magical place in May with my boyfriend Matt. I first visited with friends back in 2008, but Italy becomes something entirely different when you’re with someone you love! #cuetheitalianlovesongs We booked our multi-city trip through European Destinations, whom I highly recommend! […]
