If we’re friends on Instagram, you already know this summer we ended our 2 week trip to Europe in Lake Como, Italy! I’m still working on my full travel vlog and hope to be able to share that with you guys next week.

In the meantime, I thought it’d be fun to do a little Lake Como house tour. Remember the show MTV cribs?! Filming this video kind of felt like that, only lots of bloopers (which I left in the video…you’re welcome) and no expensive cars or champagne. We did have a pretty sick private pool though. SO take that Mariah Carey.

One of my favorite tips for traveling abroad is to stay in Airbnb rentals, this way you feel like a local while on vacation. I find I get a more authentic experience this way too.

We were SO lucky to find this little luxury suite, which is normally sold out in high season.  It’s the perfect size for 2 people, has it’s own private pool with breathtaking views of the lake and it’s located right next to the famous Grand Hotel Tremezzo.  We loved being able to enjoy the live music coming from the hotel next door, while we enjoyed wine and lake views on our OWN private patio.

The location was also unbeatable! We were at the center of everything in Tremezzo and very close to the ferry station if we wanted to take off to explore other parts of the lake like Bellagio.  If you’re planning a trip to Lake Como, I highly recommend staying here!

Have any of you babes traveled to Lake Como? Where did you stay?

After our quick 24 hours in Paris we headed to spend 4 nights in the South of France!  To get to the South of France you’ll need to take a quick one hour flight from Paris to Nice.  After that it’s about 30 mins to Cannes by car, which is where we made our home-base. […]

You guys know I love to get hyperlocal when traveling. But living like a local doesn’t have to end when your vacation does. Before I travel to a destination, I research what goods the town is best known for whether it be olive oils, silks, spices or liquors.  Then, I make it my mission […]

Bonjour from France! I was in the city of lights for only one full day with my husband. We made the most of our time seeing the highlights of Paris, before jetting off to Cannes the next morning. It was wet and rainy when we arrived early in the morning from our trans atlantic […]

Nashville is MUCH more than a honky tonk heaven and while planning my sister’s bachelorette weekend, I was determined that we get the full tour! We stayed in East Nashville and spent time exploring Midtown and the Gulch neighborhoods, before ending our trip bar hopping on Broadway. I put together this fun Nashville travel guide for […]

I recently visited the big apple for less than 24 hours and let me tell you, girlfriend covered a lot of ground. I was lucky enough to stay in SoHo, which is my FAVORITE neighborhood in NYC. The food is to die for, the shopping is unparalleled and it’s located right by my second favorite hood–Little […]

Now that we’re back and well rested from our honeymoon, I wanted to put together a little travel guide Turks & Caicos style! I’ll admit, when I learned the trip would cost more than our 10 day trip to Italy (travel guides here, here, here and here), I wanted to get back to the Amalfi […]
